Our Story
Three years of shaping healthcare dialogue
Voices of Care has grown from a single conversation into a movement reshaping healthcare dialogue across the UK. Born from crisis, it's now an essential platform where policy meets practice—where the leaders defining our healthcare future come together to tackle the challenges that matter most. We believe every voice in the healthcare landscape deserves to be heard, valued, and empowered to shape a compassionate, sustainable system. That's why we sit down in person with NHS executives, care providers, and senior political figures for conversations that span every corner of health and social care.

The Beginning
In 2022, Newcross Healthcare launched the Voices of Care podcast , hosted by Suhail Mirza, in response to a healthcare landscape at a critical juncture.
With unprecedented pressures on the NHS, evolving care models, and complex policy debates around funding, workforce, and integration, we recognised the need for open, informed dialogue about the future of care delivery.
The sector needed a space where difficult questions could be asked and the voices shaping policy could speak candidly about the challenges ahead.
Our first guest was Sir David Nicholson, whose insights set the tone for the honest, high-level dialogue that would become our hallmark.
